However, much larger and more dynamic surf breaks make the Pacific Ocean a top destination for in-the-know surfers. Saboga’s meandering coastline affords many anchorage spots for keen sailors, and a profusion of Colourful reefs, coral gardens and marine life also makes Saboga a spectacular location for diving and snorkelling.

Although Isla Saboga offers peaceful, unspoilt seclusion, a small local community of less than 400 exists within the island’s charming traditional fishing village. The resort will provide sustainable jobs for the community, and training programs are in place to teach villagers the skills needed in the construction and tourism industries, whilst local organic produce including fruit, vegetables and fish will be sold within the resort.
